NORWALK, Conn. — Making its North American debut at Graph Expo, the Xerox Impika eVolution is known for its flexibility and scalability – critical must-haves in today’s demanding print environment. eVolution offers print service providers another way to capitalize and maximize inkjet’s business growth potential.
Flexible enough to handle both plain papers and high-quality, inkjet-treated stocks, the drop-on-demand piezoelectric production inkjet device runs at speeds up to 832-feet-per-minute/3,628 pages-per-minute. It offers roll-fed, continuous-feed capabilities with a 20ʺ web width.
Patented variable speed technology – made possible by a frame architecture suited for two to four print heads – maintains maximum image quality when increasing or decreasing rates. This scalability doubles the productivity on a single platform and delivers more usable, sellable prints day after day.
For added productivity and automation, FreeFlow® Digital Workflow Collection can be integrated into Impika devices and supports all major data streams including PDF, PS and IPDS in one platform. Print service providers can easily expand their application offerings in the transaction/trans-marketing and direct-mail markets.
Additional eVolution features include:
Dedicated to help attendees find new ways to profit with inkjet, Xerox’s Graph Expo booth includes XMPie's 1:1 multichannel marketing campaign management software, business-generating specialty media from Domtar Paper Company, LLC and integrated hybrid finishing solutions from C.P. Bourg.
The Xerox Impika eVolution is available for order taking and will be on display in Xerox’s booth No.1213 at Graph Expo, Sept. 28 – Oct. 1 in Chicago.
